The estate was founded in 2002 and is located at the same latitude as Tuscany and growing on slopes of above 150 and 180 meters, the 100 hectares of the Burgozone vineyard are composed of high quality clones which are spread across a calcareous loess soil. The vineyard enjoys a moderate continental climate blessed with hot days and cool nights as well as benefitting from the qualities of being in such close proximity to the Danube River. The average age of the vineyards is 10 years. All the wines are carefully made from handpicked grapes and are bottled on site at the estate. Careful adherence to canopy management practices and green harvesting techniques results in a regulated yield ranging between 20 hl/ha and 45 hl/ha. The estate practices sustainable winegrowing and remains committed to sustainable and ecological responsibility through the practice of integrated viticulture.

Selectively handpicked and then processed through a sorting table to ensure optimal quality - the grapes were macerated and fermented in the same temperature controlled stainless steel containers. Aging took place in a mixture of Bulgarian and French oak for a duration between six and nine months. Dense ruby-red color with a touch of violet and brick-colored nuances. Ideal clarity and gloss. Intensive and long lasting aromas of red stone fruits (sour cherry and cherry), noble oak, smoke, dark chocolate and vanilla. Pronounced taste with pleasant sweetness and spicy tannins, very good length and aftertaste with aromas of smoke and vanilla. Pair with salmon, duck, roasted meat or cheeses.
