This superb provence rosé is made from a blend of old vines on clay and gravel soils, using techniques to ensure the highest quality by picking and destemming the grapes and using optical sorting technology to make sure each individual grape is the best. The juice is vinified in stainless steel to preserve the fresh fruits with bâtonnage’ (stirring) of the yeast lees to make a fresh and round wine.
Located in the heart of Côtes de Provence, 40 kilometers north of the coast above Saint Tropez. Today, Château D’Esclans consists of 140 hectares of vineyards. The total property has 427 hectares. This estate is in the heart of the Esclans valley and has had many owners over the years, but what would change its destiny was the arrival of Sacha Lichine in 2006.
