A great fruity red wine and medium body, garnet in colour, cherry and hints of limestone on the nose and a clean crisp fruity red wine with flavours of brambles and red cherries, a clean acidity makes this very refreshing.

2022 was a warmer than average summer in Sancerre and the Pinot Noir grapes were very ripe when harvest took place.  The skins had also thickened in the heat, protecting themselves against the powerful sunlight.  This has resulted in a wine with darker fruit characteristics, a deeper colour and more tannins.  It has flavours of dark cherry, even some black fruits and earthy notes.
